Bio

As a leader, I am dedicated to building and maintaining lasting partnerships, instituting new initiatives, and leading teams to exceed expectations. I quickly took on a leadership role when joining my team as an instructional designer. Primarily to help guide the team when the director was pulled to other tasks, but also to streamline processes and increase efficiency.  I have developed a catalog of 19 SOPs detailing the specifics of over 130 different processes. In addition, I have created 20 different templates in our project management software (ClickUp) to standardize our workflow and quicken the onboarding process for new team members. The SOPs and templates are tested and updated continuously as part of our daily work. In fact, multiple departments across the Enterprise have asked for help in creating their own SOPs following our format.

My constant thirst for knowledge has allowed me the opportunity to earn valuable experience and position myself as a respected and informed leader.  Once promoted to a management role, I was immediately tasked with building a team to assist me in designing curriculum for 12+ projects, which ranged from internal and external product training, employee onboarding, and leadership development. I reduced a pool of 60 applicants to 3 exceptional instructional designers who have proven to be invaluable additions to our team. I reorganized the distribution of labor to leverage each team member’s specific talents and optimize throughput and collaboration. Currently, we are working on 19 different projects for the organization which is only possible because each instructional designer is able to devote their attention to one domain.

I take pride in understanding how things work and identifying where improvements can be made to simplify processes. I excel at planning and executing complex projects by evaluating workflows to develop creative, but simple, scalable solutions. As an expert collaborator, I encourage dynamic meetings that are a true compilation of multiple perspectives and ideas. I am trained in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques which have proven invaluable in nearly every role.
